Petting Zoo
Petting Zoo is a 2D animation film created as a public service announcement towards the infringement of African American hair.
Black Magnolia
Black Magnolia is a traditional, hand drawn animation shot on an animation crane. Black Magnolia is part of a larger story involving afrofuturism and black excellence, that I hope to continue in the future.
Pulse
Pulse is a non-narrative 2D animation. In this piece I use color, music and movement to express feelings of excitement and joy.
Sunflowers
Sunflowers is a stop motion short that I wanted to give an empowering visual representation for the poem "Hey Black Child" by Useni Eugene Perkins. I used the software Dragonframe to create this animation.
